We’re in the midst of pumpkin season and as much as I love a good Pumpkin Spice Latte, it doesn’t take the place of real honest-to-goodness pumpkin spice baked goods. I originally posted the following article back in 2012 but these are still my favorite pumpkin recipes and definitely worth sharing again (even if just for the adorable pictures!). If you’ve never cooked with homemade fresh pumpkin puree, you’re missing out! And it’s surprisingly easy to make too. Enjoy:

Will the autumn well under way, we took a recent family trip to R. A. M. Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in Turlock, CA.
Included in our haul from the patch was two beautiful Sugar Pumpkins, which we decided to put to good use. Although I’ve never cooked pumpkin dishes from fresh whole pumpkins before, I found a wealth of resources among my fellow bloggers.
